GORTA SHOP
Until recently Gorta has relied on the public for donations their unwanted items, books etc. to the shops for resale. However as was highlighted in the press recently the supply of stock from this source is being eroded by collectors who sell on international markets for commercial rather than charitable purposes. Without good quality stock to sell in their charity shops, Gorta will be unable to raise funds to support as many projects as they have in the past. It is for this reason that they make this special appeal to you to consider donating clothes, shoes, sportswear, accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, jewellery and many household items. Unfortunately for health and safety reasons, they cannot accept toys, electrical or nursery items. Gorta thanks you in anticipation of your contributions. Contact Audrey Hough, Gorta, 23 High Street, Limerick (061)310833, Maggie Dwyer, Fundraising Manager, Munster, Gorta, Email Maggie@gorta.org and see the website www.gorta.org.
